Free List of 150 Micro-Influencers in Every Niche [Emails Included]

By January 10, 2021 June 2nd, 2021 No Comments

Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, Snapchat – you name it, there’s rarely a brand that’s not present on any of these platforms.

But does the presence itself guarantee success?

Certainly not, just like going to the gym is not enough for you to get those Ryan Reynolds abs – you need to follow a strict diet, exercise accordingly, and be consistent. On Instagram, founders need to come up with a certain goal in mind, choose the right micro-influencers for your brand, and develop a winning marketing campaign.

Of course, this all sounds easy when I say like this right?

It’s actually pretty challenging to achieve, but not impossible.

The first thing you need to do is focus on finding the right Instagram micro-influencers among 157 million micro-influencers worldwide.

And if you’re asking yourself why…

The latest data shows that micro-influencers, influencers with 10,000 or fewer followers, are getting the best results for brands and businesses. More engagement, more clicks, and higher ROI.

Plan Your First Micro-Influencer Campaign in Three Simple Steps

It’s not about getting more likes on Instagram – it’s about increasing conversion rates, engaging with users, and driving sales, and nowadays, micro-influencers are the best way to achieve all that. Those are the people that have between 1000 and 10000 followers.

If you’re thinking that your small business can’t profit from such collaboration, we beg to differ – and here’s our blog post to prove it – Micro-Influencer Marketing for Small Businesses [2021 Guide]

But, if you’re an entrepreneur who knows the value of a potential collaboration with micro-influencers, but doesn’t know where to start, follow our guide.

1. Start With Why

Before you start looking for micro-influencers, stop for a moment, and ask yourself – why are you doing this? What’s the business goal behind this potential partnership?

You’re investing your hard-earned money in it, so you need to know the why.

There are common marketing goals related to hiring micro-influencers:

  • Increase brand awareness – gain bigger profile visibility, more profile visits, increase the number of website traffic, increase the number of social media mentions, etc. KPIs: Visits from Direct, profiles visits from direct, social media mentions (tracking tool like or google alerts)
  • Build a bigger audience – grow the number of social media followers. KPI: # of followers, Free tool to track:
  • Improve user engagement and generate more leads – create a better relationship with your current and future followers, convert prospects into leads.
  • Increase sales – growth in sales. KPI: Sales from Instagram, sales from Direct. Tool: Affiliatly (to track referrals on Shopify or CJ Affiliate (old school but does the job).

Once you know your goal, save the current metrics. This will help you develop KPIs and compare the previous metrics with the new ones.

2. Determine Your Starting Budget

Usually, micro-influencers rates vary from free to $300 per post, but it also depends on the type of post. A video or promoted post will cost more. Plus, niche-oriented micro-influencers are higher-priced, so consider that fact as well when planning your budget.

One more thing.

Do you plan to hire one or multiple influencers?

Ideally, you should pick at least 50 micro-influencers. And there are good reasons for such a high number.

To find the right micro-influencers fast you need to outreach at scale because there will be a lot of:

  • Misfits for your brand
  • Declining your offer
  • Some will be too expensive, or:
  • No reply at all

If you can’t afford 50 or more micro-influencers, you’ll need to spend more time doing the third step of our guide, which is the next one.

3. The Manual Way of Finding the Right Micro-Influencers

The process of influencer search is still one of the most challenging. 36% of marketers have cited that they have problems finding the right influencers.

Here’s what you should do to make this process easier:

Start With Relevant Hashtags

Use hashtags that are relevant to your niche and explore the content.

For example, you’re running a beauty business. With only one hashtag research like this, you could find out the latest content posted on Instagram related to this hashtag.

Using hashtags to find the top micro-influencers. In this case the hashtag #beautyhacks is used to search influencers.

Another way of looking for micro-influencers is hashtags+emojis.

Let’s say you’re in the fitness industry.

How to research and find micro influencers with hashtags.

6,544 posts.

Now, look at this.

Another example of getting a list of sports micro influencers based on the hashtag #gymlife.

574,797 posts – apparently, this one is much more popular in the gym community!

This means that you’ll have a chance to explore more content and find a more suitable micro-influencer.

Scout The Profiles

Check their profile content and see if they are even relevant to your niche or not.

This will take a little while as you’re looking for those one or two micro-influencers that’ll bring value to your business. Go through their images, read the description, check out the highlights on their profile – if you find anything remotely interesting, save the profiles.

And remember, don’t stop with the first one. Dig deep – there are thousands of other influencers out there, just be patient.

Once you pick your influencers, spend some time interacting with them. View their IG stories, like their posts, just so they’ll start noticing your brand name in their notification bar.

Afterward, it’s time to reach out to them.

How to Outreach and Hire Micro-Influencers (Templates Included)

The time has come – you need to be the first one to break the ice.

There are three ways to reach out to any micro-influencer:

3. Email, as the #1 channel for talking business

Most micro-influencers have their emails listed on the profile, so that makes things easier for you as an entrepreneur.

Leaving a good first impression is everything, so try to be as friendly and approachable as you can be.

Aaron Agius from offers excellent tips on how to properly contact micro-influencers and we’re going to share two of them here.

Here’s a good example of how to reach out to a micro-influencer for the first time, when you still haven’t established the nature of your relationship.

Template for micro influencer outreach.

And here’s how to approach them once you have a sample offer prepared for them and you know they’ll be interested to collaborate with you.

Free Email Template for micro influencer outreach.

But, you could do all this and there’s still the possibility that your offer might get rejected.

So, to prevent all this, you need to contact the right micro-influencers and not lose even a second of your time on a potentially failed collaboration.

That’s where we come in, with our massive database that contains influencers’ emails from various industries, all verified by us! Reach out only to those influencers that are relevant to your brand, and make them an offer they can’t refuse.

2. DM – Direct message via social media

Most Instagram micro-influencers keep an open Instagram profile so that anyone is able to contact them via DM. As DMs are not as official as emails, you can allow yourself to be more casual and with an even friendlier tone of voice. Keep it short and simple and hope for the best!

Here’s one example of how to do a proper reach out via DM from Buffer:

Free template for micro-influencer outreach via direct message or DM on Instagram or Facebook.

3. Comments, the least popular option

The third option is slightly indirect but can turn out to be just as effective as a direct contact – comment under their latest posts. Stay on point, comments are meant to be short! However, if you’ve decided that a specific micro-influencer is going to promote your products it’s best to keep your relationship away from the eyes of their followers.

Remember, influencer marketing’s goal is to substitute (honest) word of mouth.

With it, there’s only one thing left to be done – measurements.

How To Measure Micro-Influencer ROI

The time has come for you to measure the results of the entire campaign.

The KPIs should be relevant to your campaign only and here are some of the most popular KPIs for the work of micro-influencers:

  • Number of total impressions
  • Number of clicks to website or landing page
  • Total conversions
  • Average engagement rate
  • Revenue

Here’s one formula that you can use to measure the actual ROI of micro-influencers.

ROI (Return on Investment) = Profit Return /Investment x 100

Also, you can use tools to measure your campaigns’ ROI.

For example, NeoReach can help you track, monitor, and manage your campaign in real-time. You’ll be able to view the performance of the influencer, a particular post, or the overall campaign.

Keyhole is another tool that helps you visualize the actual contribution of the influencer to your campaign and brand.

Make it easy on yourself and use these or similar tools to measure the influencer’s ROI.
